Glass South America is Latin American’s leading biennial trade show for hollow and flat glass.
On an area of approx. 10000 sqm, this 13thedition hosted a great number of trade professionals and exhibitors from the world over.
Mr. Franco Pirola, Bavelloni Sales Director and Partner, who attended the show, comments that “As a result of the recovery which is taking place in the emerging markets of this area, the climate in the glass industry is optimistic and favorable to drive business growth and investments.”
The number of visitors from Brazil and from other countries such as Argentina, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay and Peru has considerably increased this year, in comparison with 2016.
At this event, Bavelloni showcased some of the most representative equipment belonging to its wide product offering: the cutting table REV 372-SR for monolithic glass, the straight-line edging machine model VE 350 8 and the bevelling machine model VB 350 CN, very well-known and appreciated in the Brazilian and neighboring markets. The possibility to demonstrate all the machines in operation generated a great interests among visitors who could also experience the quality of processing and the technological innovations introduced by Bavelloni in the latest years.
